Recovery Coaches (RC)
RCs are individuals with lived experience who are focused on providing our clients with tools, resources, and support to achieve long-term recovery. The RC will help the client create a Wellness Plan, and develop their recovery pathway.
River to Recovery offers outpatient therapy services in-person and via telehealth with an LICSW and a LCSW. Clients who express an interest in Outpatient Counseling will be referred to the therapist that best matches their needs. A biopsychosocial assessment and individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of the client as utilized by our therapists to provide the most effective care.
Recovery Support Navigators (RSN)
RSN's are paraprofessionals who provide care management and support clients in accessing treatment services and community resources. They will work with you to develop an Individualized Service Plan to establish goals and objectives that guide the activities of the RSN services.
Groups are run by RCs, RSNs, the NP, and LCSW. Topics vary from relapse prevention to skill building and substance use education. We offer Yoga on Fridays. See the Group Schedule for details!
The Nurse Practitioner at River to Recovery plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients within the addiction treatment program. This position focuses on delivering high-quality medical care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the overall well-being of patients seeking recovery. All new clients will be scheduled for a History & Physical Examination with the Nurse Practitioner at intake.
12-step meetings like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous are held throughout the week and provide a pathway of recovery and sense of community. Faith-based groups and dual diagnosis groups are offered as well (see meeting schedule). These groups can be imperative to maintaining long-term recovery.
